Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Industrial designers and create photo realistic renderings for the cell phones.
- Work closely with the User Experience designer and create world class animations, Flash prototypes and presentations.
- Create new icons and graphics for the cell phones.
- Create and maintain the production graphics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The role of a Visual designer is highly creative in nature. Visual designer will be working very closely with the Industrial designers and User Experience designers. He will also be responsible for creating high end 3D renderings of the phones with different finishes and materials from the 3D CAD data supplied by the CAD team. He will also be involved in implementation and presentation of the user experience design concepts.
Visual designer will also create new icons and graphics for the cell phones.
An ideal candidate must have an exceptional ability to absorb the design intent from the designers and translate into animations, renderings or presentations using his creative expertise. He/She must be perseverance, hardworking and flexible to adapt to the business needs and opportunities.

Requirements

- Masters/Bachelors degree or diploma in Design, Arts, Animation or other related design disciplines.
- Excellent 3DS Max/Maya rendering and animation skills.
- Skills in creating motion graphics using Flash/ Aftereffects.
- Proficiency in image processing applications like Photo shop, Illustrator/Corel Draw.
- Excellent ability to absorb and translate the design intent into animation, 3D photo realistic renderings, and presentations.
- Experience and exposure in the field of Flash prototypes (action scripts), Commercial arts, Web Design, Advertisement, Print Media or Industrial design is a huge plus.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness of approach.
- Ability to execute within tight schedules and business constraints.
- Ability to adapt to the business dynamics.
- Team playing.
