Job Description:
Contribute towards the formulation of overall sales and marketing strategy for brand and product line under own purview. Prepare outlay plan for the given advertising and promotions budget ensuring guidelines from Principals, local promotion requirements and brand publicity requirements are optimised within the budget. Study sales trends for products within own purview and decide on incentives to motivate retailers and wholesalers to push for higher sales. Plan product launches, events or promotions in conjunct
ion with Marketing Services as required, ensuring smooth implementation and a balance in terms of location and timing. Maintain regular and close contact with brand supervisors to review brand performance in order to assess or revise marketing strategy and make changes where necessary to maximize results. Monitor and oversee the maintenance of customer database to ensure it is updated and valid and is utilised to the fullest. Provide regular reports, data and analyses for principals on various aspects of brand performance such as marketing and promotions plan, sales targets per product and per door, sales performance, stock reports, competition review and market intelligence. Guide, direct, train and motivate subordinates to work to their best potential and display high levels of performance on the job.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Degree in Marketing or a related business oriented discipline. Knowledge and experience in the field of perfumes and cosmetics. Understanding of the sales function. Communication and interpersonal skills. Planning and organising skills.
