Job Description

The Asst. Manager - FInace (Plant Accountant) leads the Finance, Purchase and Stores function in Plant and reports to the General Works Manager. Functionally the position reports to the Finance function in HO.

Maintain financial & commercial propriety in respect of plant operations while controlling costs in order to achieve Budget with a simultaneous focus on safeguarding the assets as existent in the plant. Business partner the Plant Manager by providing inputs on key performance indicators and associate with plant line functions for conduct of operations in a standardized process driven manner.

Desired Profile

� Candidate should be well versed in Financial and Manufacturing Accounting.
� Working knowledge of Indirect Tax Laws i.e. Excise/Service Tax/Sales Tax/etc.
� Knowledge of
o Indian Accounting Standards
o IFRS
o Direct Tax Laws
� Knowledge of ERPs viz. SAP/JD Edwards/Oracle/etc (preferable)

� CA (with 3-6 year experience) OR
� ICWA (with 5-7 years experience) OR
� B.Com (with 10 years experience)

� Major part of experience should be in Plant Finance
