Description:
* During project start-up and definition: champion the creation of quality-driven project plans by ensuring that all tasks have well articulated quality completion criteria. * Ensure that audit, assessment, verification (including Peer Review) and test activities have adequate and planned resource commitments. * Champion the use of Measurement as the key to success. * Ensure that measurable quality criteria are integrated into all project planning, tracking and control activities. * Monitor customer feedback data (e.g. defect rates and requests for change). * Help development focus on root cause analysis and closed loop corrective action plans to improve customer satisfaction. * Drive implementation of initiatives to achieve Quality strategies, ensuring policy compliance and deployment of advocated practices. * Issue exception reports and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure: -Conformance to requirements. -Adequacy of quality assurance and quality control activities. * Ensure measurement of key project data, requirements churn and quality levels. *Work with Project Managers / Test Engineers to drive data collection and trend analysis when actual results are not within plan tolerance; help to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions. * Escalate as necessary when process use and deviations are not appropriate, based on the project scope and/or process limitations and intent. * Promote Process Improvement by providing Quality education and promoting use of best practices. * Help the Development Organization accomplish targeted improvement initiatives. Desired Profile * Should possess experience of at least 7-10 years in a product software company with exposure to Software Quality or SQA/SEPG/Audit function. * Exposure to software engineering life cycles and processes is vital. * Participation in audit, review and metrication activities shall be an added advance. * Experience in ISO, CMMI v 1.2, six sigma is required.He/She should possess high energy level and ability to learn and adopt and build client relationships. * Managed multiple concurrent QA projects at the same time. * Worked on a onsite offshore business ModelCertifications in Quality, CSQA, Lead Auditor, Black Belt will be preferred. * Should have worked on multi-site Quality Assurance implementations in Global companies.
